"Father" Resin-Stone Statue

This familial and sweet statue called "Father" is by world-renowned Canadian artist Timothy P. Schmalz, whose sculptures are installed worldwide.  This miniature replica is a solid resin-stone cast in Carrara White and measures 8" high x 6.5" wide x 4.0" deep.  Timothy Schmalz is devoted to creating artwork that glorifies Christ, and he describes his sculptures as being visual prayers.  As in his original "Father" sculpture, the artist depicts St. Joseph with the child Jesus and shows the playfulness, intimacy and love in that special relationship between a father and a son.  The connection between the two is expressed by the simple gesture of Jesus reaching out and touching Joseph's face.  Timothy personally sculpts every original small masterpiece complete with his signature or monogram, and each replica is detailed by hand to the exacting standards of this modern day master sculptor.
