"St. Joseph the Worker" Resin-Stone Statue

This beautifully crafted "St. Joseph the Worker" statue is by world-renowned Canadian artist Timothy P. Schmalz, whose sculptures are installed worldwide.  This miniature replica is a solid resin-stone cast in Carrara White and measures 9" high x 10" wide x 6" deep.  Timothy Schmalz is devoted to creating artwork that glorifies Christ, and he describes his sculptures as being visual prayers.  As in his original "St. Joseph the Worker" sculpture, the artist depicts St. Joseph hard at work as a carpenter, with the boards he is hammering forming a cross - a foreshadow of his Son's crucifixion.  Timothy personally sculpts every original small masterpiece complete with his signature or monogram, and each replica is detailed by hand to the exacting standards of this modern day master sculptor.
