The Tassilo 8th Century Inspired "Fire Enamel Tassilo" Chalice and Dish Paten (Matching Ciborium Available). Fire enameled version of the VII century Tassilo chalice, executed in fire enamel, solid 925 sterling silver, 24 K gold lined cup. 8" Ht., 4 1/2" Dia. Cup, 20 Oz. Capacity. Comes with 6 1/2" Diameter paten. Manufactured by the Master Silver Smiths of Molina/ Artistic Silver. Design based on the original famous "Tassilo" Chalice made famous from the 700's in Germany by Duke Tassilo III. The chalice features The Messiah and the Four Evangelists on the cup with the inscription Latin "Per Ipsum, Cum Ipso, In Ipso" ("For Him, With Him, In Him) on the base.
