This round St. Peregrine Sterling Silver Medal, 0.8" x 0.7", is hand polished and engraved by New England Silversmiths and depicts the saint holding a cross.  St. Peregrine was a priest of the Servite Order.  He is the patron saint of those suffering from cancer, AIDS, foot ailments and other serious diseases.  He himself was miraculously cured of cancer.  The night before the scheduled amputation of his very painful cancerous leg, St. Peregrine spent hours in prayer, asking God to cure the cancer.  He fell asleep and in a dream saw Christ coming down from the cross, touching his leg and healing his afflicted limb.  When St. Peregrine awoke, he saw that his leg was completely healed.  Available in 14 Karat Gold for an additional cost - please call for price and specify 14 Karat Gold in Order Comments.
