This full color statue, "Flight Into Egypt", depicts the Holy Family traveling to Egypt.  After the Magi from the East departed from worshipping the Child Jesus in Bethlehem, Joseph was directed in a dream by the Lord God to take Mary and the Child Jesus and to flee to Egypt in order to escape King Herod who sought the child's life.  The Holy Family remained in Egypt until after the death of Herod.  This 8.25" statue depicts Mary holding Jesus and  riding on a donkey as Joseph walks beside them on foot.  This full color figure is of a resin / stone mix and comes gift boxed.
